Cancer du cerveau « agressif » au Danemark
La Danish Cancer Society rapporte que le nombre d’hommes diagnostiqués avec un glioblastome , la forme la plus maligne de cancer du cerveau, a presque doublé au cours des dix dernières années. Hans Skovgaard Poulsen , le chef de neuro-oncologie à l’Hôpital Universitaire de Copenhague, parle d’ un «développement effrayant. »
La société ne l’a pas lié à l’augmentation de téléphones cellulaires ou de toute autre chose. «Nous n’avons aucune idée de ce qui le cause », Poulsen a déclaré dans un communiqué émis par la Société danoise du cancer le 2 Novembre.
Pourtant l’étude Interphone et le groupe mené en Suède par Lennart Hardell ont rapporté que l’utilisation du téléphone cellulaire à long terme est associée à des taux plus élevés de gliome. (Glioblastome est un type de gliome.)
« Je pense que les données personnelles sont exactes et valables, »a déclaré à Nouvelles Ondes Christoffer Johansen de la Danish Cancer Society. . Johansen est un membre de l’équipe qui a travaillé sur l’ étude de cohorte danoise , qui enquêtait sur les liens possibles entre les téléphones cellulaires et tumeurs du cerveau.
